Foundations of Christian Coaching (CAM 501)

In this class you’ll learn how coaching is distinct from other ways of helping. You will learn the skills of a coach, basic coaching models, and how to conduct a powerful coaching conversation. This class is not just about knowledge. It’s also about growing your skills. You’ll have opportunities to practice as well as receive growth-oriented feedback. (Prerequisite for further coach training.) All classes are held from 10 a.m. to noon (Central).

Establishing A Dynamic Coaching Relationship (CAM 502)

What does it take to develop a strong professional coaching relationship? It takes attention to the essentials and going beyond expectations. In CAM 502, we teach you to do just that. In this course, you will learn ICF ethics and standards, how to help the person being coached to orient around areas of strengths and high-performance patterns, the ingredients for a strong first session, finding clients, and creating a coaching contract. This class will help you go beyond the doing of coaching in order to be a coach. All classes are held 10 a.m. – 12 noon (Central)

Coaching Through Change, Transition & Transformation (CAM 503)

Coaching is all about change, but not all change is the same, and coaches need to be able to support: Proactive Change, Transitions, and Deep Transformation. Explore the path that begins with mind shift and culminates in mind renewal. All classes are held from 10 a.m. – noon Central.

How to Coach a Team (CAM 507)

In this course, you will gain an understanding of the difference between a team and other types of groups, learn how to develop authentic teams, learn the skills needed to coach teams, how to support teams in overcoming dysfunction, use team covenants, and create alliances. The class includes assessment resources. All classes are held from 10 a.m. – 12 noon (Central).

Coaching for Spiritual Growth (CAM 508)

This class will help you increase your effectiveness in coaching for new and deeper faith in Jesus. By completing this class, you will be able to understand and appreciate how a coach approach to spiritual growth leads to meaningful spiritual conversations. You will be able to use coaching skills and the coaching process to help people move forward in becoming followers of Jesus as well as increase your confidence, competence, and credibility as a catalyst for spiritual growth. All classes are held 10 a.m. to noon (Central).
