I've used the coaching concept for years; and, in 2007 I decided to take it to the next
level by pursuing accreditation with the International Coach Federation, the highest coach credentialing body in the world.
Since then, I have been credentialed by ICF as a Professional Certified Coach, I graduated from Coach U, and
I have started my own coaching business. For the past three years, I have served on the board of the ICF-Michigan Chapter
and have become an associate with Converge Coaching.
I am committed to do my best to serve you well.
My goal is to add value to the coaching world:
- Through rich coaching
- Through growing relationships
Besides serving as a personal coach for executives, leaders and teams, I am a certified coach trainer
with Coach Approach Ministries, a coach assessor for AG Coaching, and a mentor/coach for individuals pursuing
Someone once asked me, "What do you enjoy most about coaching?"
My Response: Seeing people find new clarity. That "aha" moment is the catalyst to fresh thoughts and
ideas--as if a whole new world has opened up and the sky's the limit. I find that energizing and exhilarating.
Needless to say, so do my clients.

I was born and raised
in Detroit, Michigan and am excited about the Big D's comeback!
Enjoy Cruising. Writing. Meeting new people. Studying and teaching. Discussing politics. Middle-Eastern food. Reading.
Bike riding. Spending time with my grandkids. A good cup of coffee.
I Would Like to Visit London, Alaska, The East Coast landmarks, New York City, Iceland, Israel, and Iran (my Motherland).
Future Goals include wanting to climb a 10,000-foot
mountain trail in the Sandia Mountains; publish a third book called A Weekly Quest, featuring fifty-two different
questions from the Bible--one for every week of the year; write a children's book based on characters my
mother invented for my siblings and me when we were growing up; teach my grandkids as much about life as I can.
My Family: I've
been married to Louis since 1982. He is a lead pastor in Eastpointe, Michigan as well as an adjunct professor. We have
two married daughters. Rachel and her husband Josh pastor a church in Enid, Oklahoma. She also teaches piano. They have
given us three beautiful granddaughters - Zoey, Ava, and Evelyn. Sarah and her husband James reside in Albuquerque,
New Mexico, where she is an elementary school teacher and he is a police officer. They've blessed us with James Louis
and Juliette Katherine.
